Unity Game Developer
Zatun is looking for passionate and experienced Unity game developers with prior experience with VR game development for Meta Quest 2 and other headsets.

Job – Responsibilities:
Work with Unity Game Engine to develop high-quality VR 3D single-player and/or multiplayer games for platforms such as Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Valve Index, and PSVR2.
Work on complete game development projects from concept to launch.
Work on creating engaging gameplay and implement game functionality and core game mechanics as per GDD.
Designing, implementing, debugging, and refining gameplay features and game mechanics.
Parallelly deal with performance and multiplatform-deployment challenges.
Optimize game for Lower end platforms like Meta Quest 2.
Proactively problem-solving performance and stability issues when necessary.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Collaborate with the art and design departments to improve gameplay, features, and final game output.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of prior experience in VR Game development in the Unity Game Engine.
Knowledge of Quest 2 MR (Mixed Reality) Features a bonus.
Strong understanding of programming for games (mathematics, logic, debugging, physics) as well as version control systems (e.g. Git).
Experience with game physics, particle systems, optimizing memory, and space usage.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Strong knowledge of asset importing from various design software.
Able to master gameplay mechanics.
Passionate about developing games.
Team Player
Developed at least 3 games that are live on mobile/steam/VR stores.
Pluses:
You are someone who takes incentive in a team environment to improve the final product.
Proficiency with a non-visual-scripting programming language such as C++ or C#.
Must have experience in virtual reality.
Prior experience with released games.
Preliminary knowledge of DCC tools like Blender, Maya, Gimp, Photoshop, etc.
Preliminary understanding of player psychology and game design.
Experience working with game engines other than Unity.
